Visits to the surroundings

During your presence, you will have a wide choice of getaways nearby. The history of our Provence is rich and you can be surprised by its treasures. 

Of course our abbey of Thoronet (Cistercian abbey, little sister of Silvacane and Sénanque) but also the castle of Entrecasteaux, the village of Cotignac (most beautiful village of France 2022), the Chartreuse de la Verne in Collobrières, the museum of ceramics in Salernes, the caves of Villecroze, the domain of Rayol next to Bormes les Mimosas classified remarkable garden and so many others! …

You will be able to browse the many wine estates such as the Château de Berne in Lorgues, Domaine de Peyrassol in Flassans, the Château du Font du Broc and the architecture of its incredible cellar made by companions of duty, the Château de Sainte Roseline and its chapel in Les Arcs sur Argens.

Nearby activities

The village of Thoronet (village Sainte Marie) was at the end of the seventeenth century a stage of pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. Hiking, cycling or horseback riding are many and varied.

We invite you to discover our water activities with canoeing on the Argens which crosses our town, visit waterfalls such as the fall of the great Baou in Carcès, and swimming places in natural sites such as the lake of wines in Vins sur Caramy and of course the magnificent gorges of the Verdon and the lake of Sainte Croix. 

Not to mention our proximity to the sea in Saint Raphaël, Fréjus, or Bandol and the islands of Embiez, Bendor, the three islands of Hyères ( Port-Cros, Porquerolles and Levant).

And why not a small outing in motor sports such as karting (at Luc or Brignoles), from single-seater to Luc, or even quad in Flayosc.
